The program in detail:

  • The air-conditioned bus will take you from your hotel in Sharm El-Sheikh to the airport at 04:30 am, we will board the plane at 06:00 am heading to Luxor for a trip that takes about two hours, your guide will be waiting for you at Luxor Airport.
  • we will start the tour at 09:00 am, your first stop will be at the 3,400-year-old Colossi of Memnon. these giant statues once served as guards for the mortuary temple of Pharaoh Amenhotep III.
  • Then we will head to the Valley of the queens, where the kings of Egypt and its powerful nobles were buried for more than 500 years.
  • There are mummies of some of the different Pharaonic eras were found, after which you can go down to the tombs of some of the kings of the Pharaonic families and enjoy the walls decorated with colored drawings and hieroglyphic inscriptions that are still largely preserved today.
  • Our next visit will be to the temple of Queen Hatshepsut, a wonderful ruler who proved remarkably that she was able to rule despite being a woman. Admire the unique mortuary temple with its columned terraces, the Hall of the Columns, and many different statues and paintings, and you can enjoy by felucca tour if you want.
  • Finally, visit the Karnak Temple, one of the rarest temples in the world. Despite the passage of thousands of years since its construction, it still maintains its old structure. In the meantime, you will feel strongly and clearly see what you already knew about the ancient Pharaonic civilization.
  • At the end of the day, we will have lunch at a local restaurant and wander around the local market in case you want to buy any local gifts that identify local products, you can take a hanntour riding if you want. then will take the air-conditioned bus to the airport, back to Sharm El-Sheikh, and then to your hotel at 10:00 pm.

The best guided tour I've ever done!

I can't say enough good things about this tour - we had an amazing time! Plan to be gone all day, as it's a long but comfortable drive through NV, UT, CO, and. AZ. It was a hot day, but hey, we chose July so that's on us, but the sky was crystal clear, providing us with some magical views of Lake Powell, Horseshoe Bend, and Antelope Canyon.
